I just crashed FCPX trying to skimm a BCC effects in the effects browser. I did not try to put a BCC 8 effect into a videoclip of my Timeline… I was just skimming with my mouse pointer on a BCC 8 Effect to see how it looks. If I remember well, it was a BCC Stylize or a BCC Match Move's effect.
My system did not crashed totally. Just FCPX hang, with the following message : "FCPX quit using BCC 8 Common FxPlug 2.0.dylib".
PS : By the way, this is not the exact wording, just a rough translation from a Froggy… :-)

Trog Uma I've seen crashes previewing with the FCP X browser during development but thought that was stable now... if you encounter such a crash window and are able to generate a report - and post or email the report - that might be useful. In the meantime we'll do a lot of skimming in the FX browser to see if we can reproduce

I did not experienced again the Skimming crash… I guess my clip video was specially "Affects" charged and all effects did not come from the BCC8 Beta.
I could not do all the test I planned to do because December months was busy as hell with a project I did not use lots of effects… So bad the Beta is ending in December… :-(
However, thank you for letting us having a nice preview of BCC 8. :-)
